The first attempt got Kinja'd, hope this works...

Pretty impressive in person, though I have to say the aero bits look decidedly aftermarket in the photos. I didn't think that when looking at it. You'll be pleased to know that the tires have already been well used, as what little tread they had to begin with is notably worn. And it was raining, so hats off to this owner.

The gap between the wheels and the wheel arches are making me feel uneasy.

I saw one of these at a Christmas event last weekend. Didn't get pictures because we were talking to the guy too much, but damn is it awesome. The owner was amazing, he let us sit in it, showed us the trunk and under the hood, and demo'ed the active exhaust. I was amazed that the spoiler is actually a true vertical spoiler.

That's exactly what drew my attention to the tires. I was surprised at the gap myself.

On a black car especially, I'd prefer red tails too. It was pretty Darth Vader though.

Looks like they should have installed the lawn edging vertically.

That rear lip is seriously ridiculous. It's huge, and dominates the car visually.

It just reminds me of the riceresque Altezza tails that every single Honda Civic from the 90's seems to have. Even though they aren't of the exact same style.

It's ridiculous, but I love it. I mean, the car is nuts anyways. Also, did you notice the crazy amount of wide body? The guy said it had 4 inches over the normal C7.

Oh yeah, it was obvious too. I spotted it driving a block away, thinking "oh cool, haven't seen a C7 in black," but it became "Oh cool, I haven't seen a....SWEET SHIT ITS GLORIOUS!!" I flipped an illegal left & went backwards into a parking lot, then jaywalked across the street. Wouldn't have done that for a base C7.

That's the same problem I have with most clear tails. I was a teenager in the 90's. EVERYTHING got "Altezzas". I heard a kid at a car show once, looking at an IS300, say very excitedly "IT'S GOT ALTEZZAS!!" The face, it was palmed.

Blame the Euro rear field-of-vision requirements.

AGREEEEE! They just ruined Altezza tails for none other than the Altezza itself. I'm pretty sure than once they started to be produced for other cars, and the ricers started getting a hold of them, that Altezza owners actually started to get rid of them on the car that they actually belonged on.

It has always been this way (unfortunately). The C5 Zs looked like trucks brand new.

That's why I like the yellow better, the exposed carbon fiber really pops.

That is the first thing I look at in new cars (don't know why). I don't trust cars with badly proportioned wheels/wheel arches.

It looks sinister in black but I love the darker red with black wheels Now that's a mean looking car.

I would go for Yellow, or probably white as it looks amazing in regular Stingrays.

There is just too much going on for a bright color like red or blue IMHO

Well considering the way today's cars are designed, only 20"+ wheels can really fill out the wheel wells, which is simply ridiculous in my opinion. When 18" wheels look too small on said car, you know the design team screwed up.

I simply hate that today's trend is all "Life-sized Hot Wheels" with comical proportions, huge asses, tiny greenhouses, "angry animal" front fascias, and gigantic wheels that ride rough and weigh a good 30+ lbs EACH.
